The Compact Link Selector connects POWERLINK-controlled nodes.

By Plant Engineering Staff September 15, 2008

The Compact Link Selector connects POWERLINK-controlled nodes. Operating as a stand-alone unit, it facilitates operation of multiple POWERLINK devices as needed on one network with cable redundancy. When expanded with two active hub modules, the device eliminates the need to wire external hubs. Two hot-swap-capable modules are required so I/Os can operate uninterrupted. The device features functionality with most topologies, no-ring feedback and a redundant supply.
