Josh Leger, 28

Principal Software Automation Engineer, Kepware, Portland, Maine

BS Computer Engineering; University of Maine, Orono

Since he was a kid, Josh has had a love for taking things apart and putting them back together, and that thirst for knowledge continues to this day. He graduated from the University of Maine, and was hired as a full-time Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Kepware. Throughout his years at the company, Josh has increasingly taken a leadership role. Josh was integral in the design and development of Kepware’s Local Historian advanced plug-in and is currently helping improve integration between KEPServerEX and PTC’s ThingWorx. Josh has a lifelong fascination with cutting-edge technology that spills over into his personal life. He is fascinated with flight, and spends a lot of time dedicated to tinkering with and flying drones. When not dealing with new technology, Josh enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, and creating opportunities through play for his children to explore technology and engineering. He is also an avid bowler, having represented the U.S. in an international tournament that took place in Holland and Belgium when he was just 14.
