Alexander Hamilton, 29

Mechanical Engineering Team Leader, RedViking, Plymouth, Mich.

BS Mechanical Engineering, University of Michigan – Dearborn; MBA, Eastern Michigan University

Alex grew up taking things apart to see how they worked, and chose an engineering career because it challenges him every day. As well as sharing a name with one of the Founding Fathers of the U.S., Alexander Hamilton has accomplished quite a bit professionally. In the past 5 years, RedViking has become a leading U.S. designer and builder of multi-model helicopter transmission test stands, and Mechanical Engineering Team Leader, Alex Hamilton, has been instrumental to that success. He’s an accomplished, creative, envelope-pushing mechanical engineer who’s highly respected by the entire company. An effective and engaging leader, he works closely with each of his team members to ensure they receive proper direction and mentorship. This dedication to his team has led to extremely successful projects. Alex even worked on RedViking’s first helicopter test stand project, a fleet of multi-model transmission test stands for the Corpus Christi Army Depot. Outside of work, Alex and his family build houses and are currently putting a second-floor addition on the family lake house.
