Study: HVAC demand in U.S. to reach $17 billion by 2013

Demand in the US for heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment is forecast to increase 4.5% per year to $17 billion in 2013, according to “HVAC Equipment”, a new study from The Freedonia Group, a Cleveland-based industry research firm. Advances will be driven by a projected recovery in residential construction from a low 2008 base.

The IronHorse general purpose ac motor line has been extended to include 3-phase 1,200 RPM six-pole and 3,600 RPM two-pole models. Six new 56C 3,600 RPM rolled steel motors are now available, ranging from 0.33 hp to 2 hp; 13 new T-frame cast iron motors in 3,600 and 1,200 RPM models are available in sizes from 1 hp to 10 hp.
