Atlas Copco Compressors LLC, has purchased the Clayhill compressor distributorship from American Air Products, Inc. EnPro Industries, Inc., a manufacturer of engineered industrial products, announced Wednesday the acquisition of Allwest Compressor Services, a privately-held manufacturer of compressor components located in Western Canada. Allwest manufactures and services compressor-related parts and components for the natural gas and oil production industries, including compressor pistons and rods, piston rings and rider bands, and compressor valves. Corrosion monitoring in hydrogen bromide

For years, a major processor of hydrogen bromide has had a corrosion problem. The compressor that pushes hydrogen bromide gas through their plant required regular repairs and replacement, and each compressor was only able to provide five years of operation.
