Global automation conference for industry professionals

Schneider Electric's 2015 Global Automation Conference in Dallas, Tex. is designed to help automation professionals through workshops and collaborative sessions. The event, April 27 to May 1, will have workshops that will have specific focuses on a number of industries including chemical and pharmaceuticals, oil and gas, power, mining and metals, and hybrid process with a specific focus on the food and beverage and the water and wastewater industries.

The 2015 Global Automation Conference in Dallas, Texas, is designed to help industrial companies meet the most daunting challenges, safely, reliably and efficiently, the company said. Sessions are designed to cover the biggest global trends, showcase the newest innovations and technologies and share practical experience from Schneider Electric and its partners. The event, scheduled from April 27 to May 1, will have workshops that will have specific focuses on a number of industries including chemical and pharmaceuticals, oil and gas, power, mining and metals, and hybrid process with a specific focus on the food and beverage and the water and wastewater industries.

The keynote speech will be delivered by Thomas Koulopoulos, the chairman and founder of Delphi Group, which is a Boston-based think tank that provides information management and technological advice to companies. Other featured speakers at the presentation include Gary Freburger, president, Process Automation; and Scott Mourier, global process automation SIS expertise area leader, Dow Chemical Company. The conference will also have hands-on technical training sessions with continuing education units (CEUs) in every workshop and tutorial session.
