Anthony’s contributions: “Anthony has worked with and for me for over three years. In that time, he has excelled as a project engineer, a department manager, and as an engineering and maintenance manager in several food manufacturing companies. Anthony has superior technical skills as a chemical engineer coupled with the ability to get work done through people. He was integral in introducing total productive maintenance concepts to his department that resulted in a 5% reduction in downtime. Currently, Anthony is part of a company leadership team that is charged with understanding and building organizational capabilities as the company grows and expands.”

Why a career in manufacturing? “At the age of 11, I decided to become a chemical engineer. While researching careers for a school project, I read an article on chemical engineering and I knew that I wanted to make products that everyone would use. I began researching engineering and manufacturing processes, and I also job-shadowed at a local production facility. After I started in manufacturing I became interested in operations management and discovered that with others I could accomplish more than I could when on my own. Twenty years after I chose my career, I am still challenged to learn more.”
