The GHS VSD+ Series is a range of intelligent, oil-sealed rotary-screw vacuum pumps with variable speed drive (VSD) technology. Based on durable plug-and-play compressors, these vacuum pumps have been designed to deliver peak performance at users’ operating vacuum level. The GHS VSD+ offers superior and increased-efficiency screw technology, VSD, and set point control. The quiet operation of these vacuum pumps generates noise levels that are around half that of comparable technologies, allowing this product to be placed at the point of use. A key benefit of the GHS VSD+ is the reduced environmental impact due to ultra-high oil retention at all operating pressures.

On-site nitrogen generators

The NGP+ on-site industrial gas generators eliminate the need for transport, handling, and administrative costs while increasing productivity and lowering energy consumption. The NGP+ can be plugged directly into an existing compressed air installation and offers an independent, reliable, and flexible supply of nitrogen gas. When tuned to the compressed air network, the NGP+ adsorbs more oxygen for the same input of compressed air as compared with standard generator installations. This is done through the use of separation media (CMS), top- and bottom-pressure equalization, and the use of back flow pressurization, which uses nitrogen instead of air so that no oxygen contamination of the CMS media occurs.

Atlas Copco’s UD+ filters efficiently reduce all types of contamination in compressed air streams to protect investments, equipment, and processes. With its unique glass-fiber-filter media package, the UD+ offers two-in-one filter technology, combining two filtration processes in one product. The UD+ offers the same reliability and high air purity as traditional filter packages (with two filters), but reduces pressure drops by 40% and saves space. Featuring Nautilus technology, these filters allow significant improvements in energy efficiency without any compromise on filter performance or reliability. The less-dense filter media used in Nautilus filter technology ensure much easier passage of the air.

EXAIR's 1/4 NPT back blow air nozzle is designed to effectively blow debris and liquids from pipe or hose inside diameters, channels, bores, holes, internal threads, and other internal part features. An array of holes provides forceful 360-degree airflow to clear out coolant, chips, and light oils from machining processes. This nozzle prevents blowing chips further into a part, tube, or pipe and eliminates any safety hazard created by blowing debris out the far end of a pipe or tube. Manufactured with a small profile, the air nozzle will fit inside openings as small as 7/8 in. and is effective on diameters up to 4 in.

Rotary-screw air compressor

The Nx series rotary-screw air compressor features the iCommand-Touch controller—an intelligent technology that is programmable in 17 languages and has automatic start-up capabilities for when temperatures drop below 37 F to prevent oil freeze. The iCommand-Touch controller features touchscreen capabilities with bright, full-color graphics. At a glance, users can track pressure, temperature, and usage to easily diagnose and optimize their facility’s air system. The controller graphs information and trends that can be downloaded to an SD card for historical records, troubleshooting, and quality control measures. Simple maintenance tasks like changing oil and filters are faster with the Nx series due to the spin-on/spin-off oil-filter design.

The R-Series small rotary compressors reduce leaks and improve reliability with V-Shield technology. Built on a common platform, the R-Series compressors are available in 4- to 11-kW options with flows of 8.1 to 57.5 CFM and pressures up to 200 psig. With the application of V-Shield technology, the leak path and connections on the R-Series compressors have been reduced by more than 15%. V-shield technology ensures all critical fittings are secured with O-ring face seals in a method that is nearly free from distortion. Regardless of how many reconnections are made, leaks are virtually eliminated by the use of polytetrafluoroethylene-braided, stainless steel hoses for all oil-carrying lines.

The Turbo-Air NX 8000 is engineered to optimize flow and efficiency in a highly reliable and compact package. The compressor can be configured for many different applications and brings key system components closer to the edge of the package for easier access. The control, lubrication, and cooling systems optimize flow and operational efficiency, resulting in low lifecycle costs. The NX 8000 is rated for powers from 750 to 1,700 kW with flows from 5,000 to 10,000 CFM and pressures from 50 to 210 psig. The compressor’s lubrication-reservoir tank doubles as the sub-base of the compressor, retaining lubrication fluid.

Fixed-speed rotary-screw compressor

The fixed-speed rotary-screw UP6S series features progressive adaptive control (PAC) protection, O-ring face seals to reduce leak points, and a totally enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) motor. The design reduces the risk of particulates entering the motor, while also keeping it cool so the compressor can be used in harsh environments. Its NEMA Type 4 rating allows it to be used indoors or outdoors, in addition to the Tri-Voltage motor enabling it to adapt to a variety of applications. These features make the UP6S ideal for powering pneumatic tools and equipment of many types for use in industries such as woodworking, metalworking, brewing, and automotive repair.
