Fiberglass studs and nuts for mechanical fastenings

First used in 1977, FIBREBOLT fiberglass studs and nuts are ideal for applications requiring mechanical fasteners that must be non-corrosive, low in conductivity, and/or transparent to electromagnetic waves. FIBREBOLT studs are machined from pultruded fiberglass vinyl ester rods. The hex shaped nut is thermoplastic.

Fiberglass ladder and cage systems

SAFRAIL fiberglass ladders and ladder cages mounted on the sides of tanks and buildings are a common sight in a wide range of industries. Fiberglass ladder and ladder cage systems have been in use since the 1950’s in chemical plants and other corrosive environments. Even in complete immersion applications, fiberglass has outlasted aluminum and steel and required little or no maintenance. SAFRAIL ladders are fabricated in a standard 18" (457mm) rung width configuration with 12" (305mm) rung spacings.

Cladding attachment support systems

Strongwell’s STRONGIRT is the ideal continuous insulation (CI) cladding attachment support system. This all-FRP (fiberglass) pultruded composite uses a custom fire-retardant resin system and unique laminate design to offer superior pull out strength, excellent thermal efficiency, and the ability to work with any non-proprietary insulation (no routing or fabricating of rigid insulation is required). The geometry of STRONGIRT offers self-draining to clear rainwater, and weep holes can be pre-fabricated or added in the field for additional drainage needs.
