Tufram 2000, available in sealed and unsealed versions, gives aluminum surfaces resistance to corrosion and provides good wear. The consistently uniform surface, applied in a thickness of 0.0005-0.0007 in., makes it useful for close tolerance applications, such as screw threads. Thickness is customized for each application, and coated parts retain the thermal conductivity of aluminum.
