It helps maintenance engineers easily detect and correct sheave alignment problems, minimizing vibration and reducing wear on sheaves, belts, bearings, and other system components. The portable, battery-powered system includes a scanning laser, three- cell target to provide pitch, yaw, and groove alignment, readout, tooling bar blocks, set of tooling balls to fit sheave grooves, and case. There is no complicated set-up and belts do not have to be removed for alignment.
