A discussion of nanotechnology and manufacturing, sponsored by SME, will be conducted at the Pollard Technology Conference Center in Oak Ridge, TN Aug. 23-24.

The SME conference will highlight the current, near-term and future applications of nanotechnology and how they are transforming the way we manufacture products using innovative, top-down fabrication and bottom-up assembly techniques. This event will also provide a forum for peer networking, information sharing and technology exchange among researchers and developers of nanomanufacturing processes, systems and tools.

Speakers from the Institute for Molecular Manufacturing, Georgia Tech, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Northrop Grumman and General Dynamics will address the conference, which is open to those interested in the next wave of manufacturing technology. Visit www.sme.org to register.
