SKF acquires Preventive Maintenance Company, Inc.

In a move that strengthens its market leadership in reliability services, condition monitoring products, maintenance strategies and consulting services, SKF USA, Inc. has acquired Preventive Maintenance Company, Inc., Elk Grove Village, IL.

Preventive Maintenance Company, Inc. is a market leader in predictive maintenance services for industrial customers in the pulp & paper, metals, food, automotive and other industries. It has 70 employees and annual sales of approximately $10 million. SKF intends to use PMCI’s expertise in vibration data collections and analysis, balancing, alignment, ultrasonics, lubrication sampling, and thermography to create a primary service delivery organization.
