The Sigma-7Siec is a combination servo amplifier and machine controller in a single compact package.
The controller was designed for automation applications which require the control of only one servo motor, yet also call for exceptionally quick, precise, and reliable system performance. Sigma-7Siec also takes a significant step forward in servo system performance, thanks to its position as part of Yaskawa’s Sigma-7 family of servo motors and amplifiers. With a bandwidth of 3.1 kHz, it sets a new standard for servo response. Sigma-7Siec controller capacities range from 50W to 15kW, Sigma-7Siec is compatible with EtherNet/IP and Modbus/TCP communications standards, allowing for connectivity to nearly every HMI and PLC on the market. IEC61131-3 programming assures that programs are developed and executed with predictable behavior. These single-axis controllers feature a built-in web server that offers standard controller diagnostic information, eliminating the need for special monitoring/maintenance software.
