Seal designs are based on a driving elastomer, which wraps around and grips the shaft to protect it from abrasion damage and blocking product migration along the shaft, even if it’s scored or pitted. MECO seals are available fully split and do not fret or undercut the shaft, eliminating the need to replace sleeves.
