The FireSight high-temperature remote viewing system continuously and safely permits viewing of flame quality and impingement, if present, on the tube walls of petrochemical process heaters. The system allows an operator to view the flame in real time in order to tune the furnace to eliminate this hazardous and potentially catastrophic condition. Capable of operating in temperatures up to 3,000 F (air-cooled model) or 4,250 F (water-cooled), the system is designed for use in power plants, refineries, petrochemical and chemical plants, steel mills, paper mills, glass plants, cement kilns and incinerators. The monitor is normally mounted in the control room, providing the operator with a continuous, real-time image of the combustion chamber.
