Remote switch actuator
The remote switch actuator is designed to allow technicians to remotely close or trip the ICCB from a safe distance while remaining stationed outside the arc-flash boundary.
The remote switch actuator (RSA) is designed with a magnetic latching system for the Merlin Gerin insulated case circuit breaker (ICCB). The actuator is used for applications that include low-voltage electrical distribution for buildings, hospitals, and data centers. It allows technicians to remotely close or trip the ICCB from a safe distance up to 300-ft while remaining stationed outside the arc-flash boundary. The switch actuator is compatible with all closed-door mechanical products (MP) breakers. The RSA-199 also has a radio remote with range of up to 300-ft, a 24V DC LED light, and a wireless video camera system with LCD monitor and protective case assembly.
