Record attendance at ABB event

More than 2,500 automation professionals attended ABB’s Automation World 2006 Users Conference and Exhibition, held in Houston, TX May 9—11, exceeding last year’s attendance by more than 45%. The three-day event featured 400 workshops and a 40,000 square foot exhibition hall with hands-on demonstrations and displays of ABB automation products and systems, and those of channel partners.

ABB also announced the 2007 event date and venue. ABB Automation World 2007 will be held at the Caribe Royale resort in Orlando, FL on March 20—22, 2007. As with the previous events, the 2007 event will bring a broad cross-section of ABB customers, channel partners and employees together under the same roof.
