The microwave pulse switch is a sender-receiver remote or integral system that uses a radio frequency of 10.525GHz to propagate a wave of energy from sensor to detector. The switch uses a low-energy source compliant with FCC CFR-15 rules for radiation emission and has an output below 10uW/cm^2. It has a range of more than 300-feet, a solid-state oscillator that provides signal intensity, and facilitates sensitivity adjustments for higher dielectric materials or ranges of less than 3 feet.
