Pentair Valves & Controls’ Anderson Greenwood 4000 series of pressure and vacuum relief valves are compliant with the latest API 2000 standard. The 4000 Series pressure and vacuum relief valves are engineered to provide increased flow capacities and will fully open at 10% overpressure, which is designed to help protect tanks from physical damage caused by internal pressure fluctuations. As a result, the valves can be set more closely to a storage tank’s maximum allowable working pressure (MAWP) or maximum allowable working vacuum (MAWV), enabling customers to fill and empty tanks more quickly, and operate them at higher pressures. The 4000 Series valves are designed to remain closed longer and enhance flow capacity, resulting in increased productivity and reduced evaporation, which makes them useful for the oil and gas, water, power, and food and beverage industries. The valve range is available in weight or spring-loaded designs and comes in 2- to 12-in. sizes.
