The RT-50 position hinge is designed to hold the angle of mounted components in any position. The compact 5mm design and constant torque capabilities are used in demanding applications with limited footprints in consumer electronics, mobile devices, and small appliances. It is also used across other industries where precise position control for components is necessary and critical. A dual-ended mounting configuration enables a single hinge to be used in place of two. The zinc die-cast housings and bushings are combined with hardened steel shaft torque elements, and the line added patented ReellTorq clip technology to smooth position control. Constant torque with minimal freeplay is delivered throughout the hinge’s full 360º range of motion.
