How efficient are you in powering your plant?

and reactive power.
While real power performs useful work within your facility, reactive power does not. In fact, reactive power actually constitutes an energy loss and can consume capacity in transformers, generators, wiring, and transmission lines.
Power factor, a measure of electrical efficiency, compares the amount of real, or useful, power to the total power consumed. If power factor is not 100%, your facility is not operating at its highest efficiency and is probably paying penalty fees to utilities
