Portal features a configurable framework

SuiteVoyager creates a preconfigured default factory portal that can be applied in either user or configuration modes. The software provides the factory automation user with log-on dialogs, intuitive navigation to converted human machine interface (HMI) windows, reports, documents, alarms, and history information. No prior knowledge of building web sites or of web site building software is required.

Software reduces calibration time

MET/TEMP can calibrate up to 14 probes or temperature switches simultaneously. Users enter up to 15 temperature calibration points and then the software records data to a file automatically when all points reach stability. A graph indicates calibration progress as well as calibration process completion.

Analysis tool calculates energy consumption

MotorMaster Plus software has been upgraded to include efficiency analysis capability. The software compares the condition of equipment with energy consumption enabling the user to perform predictive maintenance effectively. Users can identify inefficient motors and compute the energy and demand savings, including the ROI associated with the selection of a replacement energy efficient model. This software lists more than 27,500 motors from 28 manufacturers. A free downloadable copy is available.

HMI software uses Windows toolbars

DesignStudio version 3.2 allows users to develop HMI applications with system integration. The software enables users to create applications on industrial or desktop PCs, then download them to Windows CE workstations. The software includes display, expansion, and operator input options. New objects allow applications originally designed in other HMI products to be recreated without losing incorporated features. It uses Windows toolbars, fill-in-the-blank dialogs, and pull-down menus, as well as networking, logging, and data archiving.

Circular trend display eliminates charts

The DX204C and DX208C are circular trend display modes for the DAQSTATION DX200 series paperless data acquisition and display station. The display includes circular trend, bar graph, linear trend, digital, overview, historical, and information view. Trends can be in either real-time or historical modes. Data are archived to onboard removable storage media after each chart revolution. Data can be played back through the display or on a desktop or industrial PC.
