It's hard to believe that AppliedAutomation is well into its third year. The encouragement and support have been inspiring, to say the least. Because of its growth, AppliedAutomation will move from being published quarterly to six times per year, starting in Jan. 2009. In addition to increased frequency, AppliedAutomation will also have expanded coverage.

It’s hard to believe that AppliedAutomation is well into its third year. The encouragement and support have been inspiring, to say the least. Because of its growth, AppliedAutomation will move from being published quarterly to six times per year, starting in Jan. 2009.

In addition to increased frequency, AppliedAutomation will also have expanded coverage. Each issue will have at least one feature each on discrete, batch and process automation topics. Coverage will also include automation topics in common with these categories such as system integration, networking and modernization, to name a few.

One of the most exciting additions to the AppliedAutomation lineup is “Backtalk,” a guest commentary where thought leaders can voice their opinions about our industry. This is open to any automation professional who has something relevant to say. I particularly wish to invite end users to participate in “Backtalk;” this is your forum; AppliedAutomation was created with you in mind.
