Enclosed disconnect switches are designed to meet plant maintenance operators’ requirements for compact and durable individual disconnecting means. The switches are offered in fusible and non-fusible versions and provide safety, high-performance, operational convenience and easy installation. Up to 400 A, the switches disconnect both the line and load sides of the fuses using two double-breaking contacts per pole. The switches have SCCRs up to 200 kA and use Class CC, J or L fuses for short-circuit protection, reliability, safety and ease of use. Other features include easy screw mounting and multiple knockouts for wiring flexibility. The switch handle accepts three padlocks to comply with OSHA lockout/tagout requirements.
