MHIA names Forger new senior VP

Gary Forger , previously editorial director for Reed Business Information publication Modern Materials Handling magazine, has been appointed senior vice president of professional development for Material Handling Industry of America. He has covered the material handling and logistics industry and the use of its technology in warehousing, distribution and manufacturing since 1984.

“I am extremely pleased to have Gary join MHIA. He is a creative, strategic thinker with the ability to communicate vision and mission.” said John Nofsinger, CEO, MHIA.

Forger received the Jesse H. Neal Certificate of Merit for the 1992 article, “Desert Storm: Unleashing the Might of Materials Handling.” He currently serves on the College Industry Council on Material Handling Education (CICMHE) and is vice president of the Material Handling Education Foundation.
