Mexico’s Vicente Fox: Build cooperation, not walls

Former president urges a comprehensive solution to immigration issues at AMR event

Former Mexican President Vicente Fox says the best solution to America’s illegal immigration problem is to work with Mexico in building up its economy rather than constructing walls to keep immigrants from entering the U.S.

Fox, who served as Mexico’s chief executive from 2000 to 2006, shared his views on immigration, trade, and the global economy as the keynote speaker at AMR Research Supply Chain Executive Conference, which took place May 28 — 30 in Phoenix.For more on Fox’s speech, click here .
