The RoughDeck low-profile floor scale for scrap weighing applications can be equipped with an indicator that calculates weight and payout and is “legal for trade.” The scale from Rice Lake features tread plate decks welded to 6-inch structural steel channel frames for optimum rigidity, with load cells recessed within a channel. It can store price factors for items such as stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper and aluminum. Scales range from 30 square inches up to 8 feet by 10 feet, with 1,000- to 30,000-pound capacities and a variety of options including access ramps and pit frames.
