The latest survey reveals that leadtimes decreased from May to June, although the trend for the rest of the year will be an increase in leadtimes. At present, supplies of these components seem plentiful, as indicated by falling leadtimes for the last 12 mo, with the exception of hydraulic cylinders, whose leadtimes have lengthened from 4.8 wk (June 1997) to 6.4 wk (June 1998), an increase of 33%.
