Bundy Group, an investment bank and advisory firm that specializes in the automation, industrial technology and plant management sectors, provides an update on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and capital placement activity, including 19 in its following December 2024 report transactions, including ABB, Ecolab, FloWorks, Pearce Services Revere Control Systems and Souer among others.

Pearce Services acquired Unified Power, Dec. 17, 2024
Pearce Services (“Pearce”), a leading national provider of operations, maintenance and engineering services for critical infrastructure, today announced the acquisition of Unified Power, a national provider of repair and maintenance services for uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems and backup power generators, serving a wide range of mission-critical markets, including data centers, telecom and health care. The company offers a variety of power solutions, such as maintenance, repair and equipment sales for UPS systems and backup generators.
Ecolab acquired Barclay Water Management, Nov. 5, 2024
Ecolab acquired Barclay Water Management, a provider of water safety and digital monitoring solutions for industrial and institutional customers, primarily in the northeastern U.S. Barclay specializes in differentiated water safety solutions, including the Barclay iChlor Monochloramine System for Legionella bacteria treatment, improving water quality, extending asset life and offering continuous monitoring and control of water chemistry.
New Asia Holdings acquired Machfu, Dec. 12, 2024
New Asia Holdings Inc. completed its acquisition of Machfu Inc. under a plan and agreement of reorganization. Machfu is a developer and manufacturer of cloud and edge software solutions designed for emerging industrial IoT applications, combined with low-power, ruggedized Bluetooth IoT gateways, seamless sensor connectivity and solar-powered solutions. Machfu Inc. has become a wholly owned subsidiary of New Asia Holdings.
Ondex Automation partners with Automation & Control Inc., Dec. 11, 2024
Ondex Automation has announced a strategic partnership with Automation & Control Inc. (ACI), a Moorestown, NJ-based leader in control systems and industrial automation services. ACI specializes in custom automation engineering, industrial electrical installation and control panel fabrication. The partnership strengthens Ondex’s mission to deliver innovative automation solutions to North American manufacturing customers.
RLE Technologies acquired NDSL Group, Dec. 11, 2024
May River Capital and its portfolio company, RLE Technologies, have acquired NDSL Group Ltd., a manufacturer of Cellwatch and leading battery monitoring solutions for data centers, utilities and telecom markets. The two companies will merge to form a new platform company, Parameter, combining over 70 years of collective experience in providing real-time insights into mission-critical operations.
Oak Hill Advisors arranged a refinancing for FloWorks International, Dec. 11, 2024
FloWorks International LLC, a leading distributor of critical flow control products and a portfolio company of Wynnchurch Capital, has successfully completed a refinancing. The refinancing, which will support future acquisitions, was arranged with Oak Hill Advisors acting as the Administrative Agent and Lead Left Arranger for the private unitranche facility.
Altus Capital Partners acquired Air Innovations, Dec. 4, 2024
Altus Capital Partners has acquired Air Innovations, a manufacturer of environmental control units (ECUs) for the wine, aerospace, semiconductor, homeland security and health care markets. The company offers custom-built solutions and a broad portfolio of branded standard products. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The Colt Group acquired Plant Services, Dec. 3, 2024
The Colt Group, a provider of online industrial leak repair solutions, has acquired Plant Services, Inc. a provider of leak repair, hot tapping, line stopping and field machining services to heavy process facilities in the Rocky Mountain region. Headquartered in Worden, Montana, PSI operates additional offices in Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma and Utah. Colt is backed by Capstreet, a Houston-based private equity firm.
ABB agreed to acquire Aurora Motors, Dec. 3, 2024
ABB signed an agreement to acquire Aurora Motors, a $4 million U.S. vertical pump motors provider with operations in Shanghai and a distribution center in Hayward, California. This acquisition strengthens ABB’s portfolio, expanding its customer base in 30 countries and enhancing its sales structure and supplier partnerships.
Innio Group acquired Souer, Dec. 3, 2024
Innio Group acquired Souer Co. Ltd., a specialist in engine-based technology and services for the midstream and power generation industries. The acquisition, effective immediately, strengthens Innio’s presence in Southeast Asia, where Souer is known for its strong relationships with multinational and local companies.

Nova has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Sentronics Metrology, a privately held company headquartered in Mannheim, Germany, in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $60 million. The acquisition is subject to customary closing and regulatory conditions and is expected to close within the first quarter of 2025, with the company anticipating it will be accretive on a non-generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) basis within 12 months of closing.
Apollo acquired majority stake in The State Group, Nov. 18, 2024
Apollo announced that its Impact and Clean Transition funds have acquired a majority stake in The State Group from Blue Wolf Capital, which will retain a minority stake alongside management. Founded in 1961, The State Group is a provider of electrical, mechanical, robotics, and automation services across industrial end markets, with a reputation for delivering critical infrastructure solutions to customers.
FloWorks International acquired Applied Controls, Nov. 22, 0224
FloWorks International LLC, a Wynnchurch Capital portfolio company and distributor of critical flow control products, acquired Applied Controls LLC and AC Systems Integration LLC. Based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Applied Controls provides industrial process controls and analyzer systems to a diverse range of industrial end markets.
DwyerOmega acquired Process Sensing Technologies, Nov. 21, 2024
DwyerOmega, a portfolio company of Arcline Investment Management, has acquired Process Sensing Technologies (PST), a UK-based provider of measurement instrumentation and monitoring solutions. The acquisition significantly enhances DwyerOmega’s sensing and instrumentation portfolio, strengthens its global market position and broadens its capabilities across key parameters, including moisture, gas, level and flow.
Relevant Industrial acquired Control Specialists, Nov. 14, 2024
Relevant Industrial, a provider of industrial solutions, has acquired Control Specialists, LLC, a trusted provider of process instrumentation, control systems and specialized industrial services based in Evansville, Indiana.
