Courtesy: LNA LaserThe MP2, a diode pumped solid state (DPSS) laser marking system, is ideal for applications that require high resolution and where speed throughput is not required. It features a DPSS laser, laser beam scanning optics (galvanometer), control electronics, and marking software. The laser provides a pulse duration of 3 nsec, high peak power of 30 kW, and runs on 24 VDC (6 Amps). The 1064 nm infrared wavelength is well suited for laser marking a wide range of materials such as: metals, plastics and some organics and can be used in a variety of industries.
