ISA announces POWID symposium dates and Call for Papers
Technical sessions, tutorials, an exhibit, and social events will be among the attractions available to attendees.
ISA will host the 51st annual POWID symposium and the 18th annual ISA POWID/EPRI Controls and Instrumentation Conference at the Hilton Scottsdale Resort in Scottsdale, AZ, June 8-13, 2008.
The conference will highlight many of the latest innovations in instrumentation, automation, security, and business systems technology. Technical sessions, tutorials, an exhibit, and social events will be among the attractions available to attendees. In addition to the sessions and paper presentations, ISA training courses, standards committee meetings, and an annual awards luncheon will also be held during the conference.
Abstracts for conference presentations will be accepted through Jan. 15, 2008. Conference sessions will focus on power plant control advances, productivity technologies, nuclear power instrumentation and control resources, power plant safety and training, control and information systems security, and turbine control systems.
