The DXN37C product line features plugs and receptacles with 37 electrical contacts. Each contact on the plug and receptacle can carry up to 5 A at 220 V. The devices are suitable for hazardous areas because they are ATEX rated for use in Zones 1 and 2 (gas) and Zones 21 and 22 (dust) classified areas. As soon as the plug is latched to the receptacle, the contacts are mated and an IP65 environmental rating is achieved.
