The Smart Gripper is designed to deliver precise gripping capabilities and can be integrated with various robots. It uses a universal operating platform and closed-loop, encoder-based positioning of robotic fingers, features adjustable grip force, and requires no external controller. The unit is operated using 24 Vdc discrete signals for use with most robot controllers. The user pre-programs motions into the unit’s non-volatile memory, with up to 32 programs selectable using the its five discrete input lines.
