Fulton gears up for AHR 2011 Expo with new products

Fulton to introduce including a signature boiler honoring the company’s founder

December 29, 2010

Fulton Companies, the global manufacturer of steam, hydronic and thermal fluid heat transfer products, announced today that new products, including a signature boiler honoring the company’s founder, will be unveiled at the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) AHR Expo in January.

Fulton’s Tribute model (ICT) boiler features Fulton’s reliable pressure vessel design and high efficiencies, but with the capability to operate at sub 9 ppm NOx with an advanced boiler control system. The Tribute model utilizes a fiber mesh burner, variable-speed fan and integrated gas train, and provides low emissions combustion with only 4” incoming gas pressure.

The aptly-named Tribute model honors the Fulton Companies’ heritage as a family-owned business, and Fulton founder Lewis Palm. Palm invented the vertical tubeless boiler, which led to the opening of Fulton Companies in 1949.  Just one of Fulton’s new product offerings for 2011, the Tribute incorporates the durability of Palm’s original intent with state-of-the-art controls and modern efficiencies.

The AHR Expo runs from January 30 to February 2 at the Las Vegas Convention Center and attracts industry professionals from around the world. Fulton Companies representatives will be on hand in Booth C-1951, where the Tribute model will be on display.

The Tribute also features full 4 to 1 modulation, a stainless steel jacket and the Fulton SC-750 advanced boiler control system. The SC-750 touch-screen boiler control system shows operators the current boiler status. This control feature was developed by Fulton’s engineering staff to provide high-tech display parameters for burner firing rate, stack temperature, steam pressure, boiler water temperature and stack emissions levels. The module also displays status of the boiler feed water pumps, de-aerator water temperature and boiler water level. Using this module, an operator can closely match and maintain boiler performance with system requirements. The Tribute is just one of the vertical tubeless steam boilers offered by Fulton, in a variety of trim options, completely customized and configured to meet individual customers’ unique job-specific needs.

Other new Fulton products that will be featured at the AHR Expo are the inSite for ModSync interface, and the expansion of the durable and proven Vantage product line to include a 6 million BTU/hr model.

The inSite for ModSync interface provides real-time boiler system status using any traditional web browser. Users can access real-time system status, make adjustments, control maintenance schedules, receive email alerts, and review systems reports.  When coupled with the ModSync, inSite’s cutting edge technology helps users optimize boiler efficiency and performance. The inSite for ModSync interface is directly supported by remote technical assistance, requires no software installation or licensing fees, and can be configured to accept up to five administrators. In addition to a presence in the Fulton Company booth, the ModSync and inSite will be featured in an AHR Expo presentation titled ModSync & inSite: Boiler Sequencing System with Remote Monitoring & System Access on January 31 at 2:45 p.m. in Theater C.

Also new for 2011, the 6 million BTU/hr Vantage model offers traditional fire tube design and diverse burner configurations for ultra-high efficiency hydronic heating applications. The 6 million BTU/hr model joins the Vantage 2 million, 3 million, and 4 million offerings on the product line, including low emissions and dual fuel options.
