Fieldbus interface adapter
Hiperface Adapters interface standard fieldbuses to Hiperface-equipped encoders. The adapter allows a motor feedback encoder to be used as a small, high-temperature, high-resolution, absolute encoder. The adapters are designed for use where space is limited; user-specific encoder flange and housing options are required; and high encoder resolutions are necessary.
Hiperface Adapters interface standard fieldbuses to Hiperface-equipped encoders. The adapter allows a motor feedback encoder to be used as a small, high-temperature, high-resolution, absolute encoder. The adapters are designed for use where space is limited; user-specific encoder flange and housing options are required; and high encoder resolutions are necessary. Adapter modules use M12 connectors to interface SSI, Profibus DP, DeviceNet and CANopen. It isolates electronics from dirt, vibration and shock.
