Fiber Optic Microswitch

The MR386 series Fiber Optic Microswitch is the world’s first fiber optic microswitch. It provides a signaling solution that can be deployed in difficult and hazardous environments up to a distance of 4,000 meters. The switch sensor employs a photo interrupt scheme operating over a duplex 62.5/125μm optical link that allows for reliable signal detection. The microswitch is entirely non-electrical and passive. There are two models of microswitch available in the MR386 line, the industrial and non-metallic MR Safe. It is interchangeable with the V15 series of electrical microswitches.
