A one-piece unit has four geomembrane walls designed to drape over and secure a separate hydrophobic sorbent on the perimeter of a nonpermeable floor with snaps. Interior and exterior sides of the walls are slotted for water and oil entry. Oil-only sorbent inside the berm walls picks up hydrocarbons while water passes through.
