Controller reduces harmonic distortion

Smart Bypass Controller minimizes harmonic distortion produced by a variable frequency drive (VFD) during peak loads while improving efficiency up to 5%. Unlike conventional circuits that are only used for emergency bypass operation, the unit has a patent-pending, solid-state controller to monitor VFD system requirements (demand, speed, and load) and minimizes distortion automatically.
