Based on significant industry input, this year’s major application-oriented conference contains more than 250 all-new sessions and workshops in the 29 sub-tracks. This year, the conference sessions begin on Monday, March 20, 2006, while the Exhibition begins on Tuesday, March 21.
The conference sessions are more focused this year than ever. Regardless of the NMW show — Plant Engineering, Industrial Automation, Design Engineering or Enterprise IT — you will find that the continuity of topics are strategically aligned with the learning needs of each discipline.
“We filled every available conference space,” said Jerry Kardas, Director, Technical Education at Reed Exhibitions. “We improved the organization of the conference.”
Looking through the “Conference at a Glance,” attendees will easily notice blocks of sessions on Power Quality, industrial Ethernet, Reliability, Safety, Cleaning and many more relevant topics. Some themed sessions, such as Compliance, Power Quality and industrial Ethernet, include roundtables.
Based on feedback from industry, Reed Exposition’s goal was to improve the quality of the conference sessions. “No matter what role you play in manufacturing, there’s something here for you,” Kardas said.
Here are some of the highlights of NMW conference sessions. For a complete listing and to register, go to www.manufacturingweek.com .
