The miniMESH DM1810 and the VersaMESH DM2200 wireless sensor network modules, introduced Tuesday during Sensors Expo at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL, have the ability to sleep the entire network and their active current consumption, even when transmitting at 10mW of RF power. Achieving ranges of up to 600 meters/hop, both modules provide self-healing wireless mesh networks that support mobile nodes over large coverage areas. Both modules provide analog and digital inputs to allow direct connection to sensors, and developer kits are available to accommodate product development.
