An Insulation Displacement Connector (IDC) provides a method to add a connector to a cable. The IDC requires a small amount of torque to secure gaskets. Only 20-millimeters of outer insulation need to be removed. Connector styles come in straight and angled. The bulkhead gasket on the threading provides an IP67 protection rating and on final assembly the blades cut into the wire insulation for solid contact with the wire. Balluff www.balluff.com
