Digi International announced the availability of FieldServer Technologies’ ProtoCessor Protocol Suite of building and industrial automation protocols with the NetSilicon NET+Works development environment and NET+ARM processors.

“FieldServer’s ProtoCessor Protocol Suite runs on top of our NET+Works development platform and device networking software making it easy for OEMs to network and control a wide variety of building and factory automation devices,” said Bruce Berger, senior vice president, Digi International. “This partnership greatly enhances and expands our offering.”

The protocol software enables companies to deploy Ethernet and serial connectivity options throughout buildings and factories. It includes linkable libraries, an installation guide, fully documented API, sample source code and runs all NET+OS platforms. The suite includes Allen-Bradley CSP, EtherNet/IP, BACnet Ethernet, BACnet/IP, Modbus/TCP and GE-SRTP Ethernet drivers. It also includes Allen-Bradley DF1, BACnet MSTP, BACnet PTP, JBus, Modbus ASCII, Modbus RTU, Modbus Tek-Air and Metasys N2 Open serial drivers. FieldServer products using these libraries are certified by Modbus, BACnet and ODVA compliance organizations.
