Branch circuit metering for critical applications

This branch circuit metering system monitors power distribution units and remote power panels – from the mains to the branches.

The Branch Circuit Power Meter (BCPM) is designed to fit any power distribution unit or remote power panel design and can monitor power and energy usage for each of their main and branch circuits. The power monitoring software turns data collected by the devices into useful decision-making information. The metering system monitors up to 84 branch circuits as well as the main incoming feeds; monitors loads from 0.25 A to 100 A; and reports power, energy and demand for each branch circuit. Alarms differentiate between low load levels and zero current flow, indicating a tripped circuit breaker. To provide advance warning of abnormal conditions, four configurable alarm points are available, helping to increase power system reliability.
