The ASME International Gas Turbine Institute will hold the Gas Turbine Users Symposium Nov. 28-30 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL, the site of the 2006 Power-Gen International Conference.

The symposium will deliver practical training and information to engineers and other technical professionals who are responsible for operating, testing, and maintaining industrial gas turbines and aero-engine systems.

“The Gas Turbine Users Symposium is an excellent resource for engineers, technicians, and managers to learn about practical solutions to challenges shared in the industry,” said Patrick Campbell of Alliance Pipeline, the chair of the symposium.

The Gas Turbine Users Symposium will include 16 sessions on fuel utilization, diagnostics and testing, repairs and upgrades, failure prevention, environmental control and other subjects. Attendees will receive training and instruction in best practices as well as access to the equipment exhibit and other programs and events of Power-Gen.
