ASME set to release digital library resource tool
The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and Scitation announced the release of its comprehensive ASME Digital Library. The digital library consolidates the ASME’s publications, including 22 journals, more than 100 ASME annual conference proceedings volumes and archived ASME Press e-Books from 1999 into a single resource.
The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and Scitation announced the release of its comprehensive ASME Digital Library. The digital library consolidates the ASME’s publications, including 22 journals, more than 100 ASME annual conference proceedings volumes and archived ASME Press e-Books from 1999 into a single resource. The resource will also include subscription access to current transactions journals, archived journals dating to 1990 and more than 30,000 conference proceedings papers.
The ASME Digital Library will provide engineers, scientists and librarians the opportunity to have access to a range of information, features and services that are facilitated by the Scitation platform. Cross journal searching, the ability to view articles online before they are printed and links to primary publishers and databases.
The ASME Digital Library is set for release in January 2008, with full functionality for March 2008.
