By Bob Vavra September 28, 2009

ARC Advisory Group is conducting a survey to to develop a better understanding of how manufacturers approach energy management in their plants . The survey examines methods for measuring energy use and accounting for energy costs, technologies that are being put into play to help improve energy efficiency, and how manufacturers assess the progress of their energy management initiatives.
Other topics include:
• The status of energy management programs
• Energy management KPIs
• Benchmarking energy reduction efforts
• Use of internal resources vs. working with energy management solution providers
This survey is designed for, and should be taken by, end users, equipment suppliers, and engineering service firms who work with energy management and have knowledge about the business situation of their company.
ARC will issue a Strategy Report on the results of this survey later this year. People taking the survey will receive a free copy of the aggregated results. The survey is designed to take less than five minutes.
