APC, PLANT ENGINEERING sponsor Power Quality Roundtable

The issue of power quality inside and outside a plant floor will be the topic of discussion as PLANT ENGINEERING magazine and American Power Conversion host a live Roundtable discussion, complimentary to all attendees, at the annual PowerGen show.

The event will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 9 a.m. in room S230E of the Orange County Convention Center, and space is limited. Featured speakers at the Roundtable include: Dr. Louis Scampavia, HTS Lead ID of Scripps Florida, a division of The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, CA, will be featured at the event. Scripps Florida is a biomedical research institute in Jupiter, FL that was affected by Hurricane Wilma last year. Dr. Scampavia will discuss the importance of power quality at his facility.

Steven Wencis, director of professional services for American Power Conversion and Jim Taufer, business development specialist in the power monitoring segment of Schneider Electric will also discuss the topic of power quality. The event will be moderated by PLANT ENGINEERING editor Bob Vavra.
