Dynatork air motors have been redesigned to lower air consumption, increase reliability and eliminate the need for lubrication, which could introduce contamination. Recommended for paint stirring applications, the air motors are also designed to lower energy usage. The air motor uses an integral rotary valve with air supplied sequentially to each of three pistons, which transmit torque on start-up that can be adjusted by a pressure regulator. The air motor consumes up to 80% less air than a vane motor, providing significant cost savings even at maximum torque.
