            FAQ’s About the Newsletter

How do I stop the newsletter?
You can unsubscribe to the newsletter. You can also modify your profile or update your registration information. If the server does not recognize you, and you do not know your password, e-mail us with your request. Please include your name, e-mail address and company. Detail helps us to complete the request; this is not a listserv, real people answer the e-mail!

Why do I receive two newsletters?
If you receive multiple newsletters, you are probably registered for Manufacturing.Net multiple times. E-mail us and we will be happy to trim down your registrations. You can try to first determine your active account by looking at the email address and password in your current registration information.

            How are the articles selected?
The articles, product releases, news stories, and tradeshow information selected for your newsletter match the preferences you select in you profile. profile .

I tried to access an article, but it wasn’t there .
There are two likely causes of this.

            1) Some of our longer URLs (Uniform Resource Locator or web address) break up over two lines, and sometimes wrap to a third line where it is not appropriate. This, and the ability to see a ‘hot’ link in the body of the message may depend upon your e-mail program. Whether you accessed the page through a hot link, or copied and pasted the URL, always double check against the newsletter to see that you have the complete address.

            2) Lexis-Nexis news articles expire after about a month. If you have a newsletter more than a month old, and cannot find a Lexis-Nexis article, we have probably removed it from the site.

If you believe you have a truly faulty URL, send us the address you are trying to access, and some information about the article. You can reply to the newsletter and point out the article you feel is a problem
